As the outlet was newly opened, the cashier was faced with problems such as unable to key in the products into the system. Credit cards and NETS machines were down too. The staff had to take orders manually and collect cash only for orders.

For order that needed time to prepare, one would be given a pagar. Food will be served at your table in this case.

Golden Lava French Toast 黄金土司
Salted egg yolk custard sandwiched between two slices of golden-brown French toast. Delectably crispy on the outside, yet fluffy on the side.
$4.40 with a cup of kopi or teh.

The toast was quite dense and difficult to slice through. It was the old school french toast type with thick fried egg coating the bread, not the commonly found thick toast with light coating type. The filling was the liu sha pau type, more like custard than salted egg yolk flavour. The tea was pre-sweeten, and tasted just right.

Kaya Cake ($1.80)
The cake was old school type and looked yummy. But it was rather dry in texture, and one can barely taste the kaya in it.

Overall the food was average and took awhile to arrive for the french toast. The rest was done ala minute and collect at the cashier while making payment.
