Staying at Toa Payoh for about two years. I like the environment and convenience here. Cake History locates at the corner of HDB Hub. There is always a queue in the morning. Many office staffs who are going work by MRT or Bus will pass by here and buy their breakfast. So as to me, I bought a piece of cake this morning. Not suitable for breakfast? I don’t care. I am craving for it. Cake History provides a wide range of bakery, includes sweet, salty, sour, or even spicy. Talking about the exterior, it is neat and clean. The price tags of Breads, Cakes, Muffins, Tarts, Biscuits and Sanwiches are arranged in order. The breads are freshly made daily. The price range of course affordable, from $0.80 each (such as Plain Dougnut) to $3.20 each (such as Tuna Delight).
It costed me $2.30 per piece. The cake was soft and flavour of mango was so strong and aromatic. Perhaps I am the lover for mango, taste wise; it was perfect enough for me. I must say, I really loved the cake, although it was just an ordinary mango cake.Cake History is now selling the seasonal cakes such as Birthday Cake and Christmas Cake. You may order first before the day of celebration. There is a booklet for you to choose which designs or flavours you desire to have.
Besides, fruits juices and waffles are sold at counter. If you happen to pass by, you may try the Butter Chocolate Waffle. It was the best seller there. The staffs there are ready to serve you.
