Today a friend of mine is having house warming party at her new flat. She has catered buffet lunch from Stamford Catering Services. The food is delivered well before the appointed time, and nicely displayed on warmers, with flowers by the side. The Nonya Kerabu Bee Hoon 娘惹腌凉拌米粉 which is quite unique in a bright orange colour, actually tastes not bad. The Vegetables Slaw Salad 蔬菜核桃沙律 with Walnuts & Dry Cranberries is a simple coleslaw given an extra kick by the cranberries. The Vietnamese Spring

The Vietnamese Spring Roll with Spicy Peanut Dip 越南春卷拼辣花生 is actually deep fried spring roll stuffed with bee hoon. Tastes not bad but would prefer it to be crispy.There is also Chilled Lychee w Mango & Crystal Grass Jelly for dessert which is quite refreshing for such a hot day, and tastes not too sweet too. The buffet also comes with Refreshing Lemon Barley Drink 鲜甜柠檬薏米冷饮 for beverage which has quite a unique taste. Overall the food is not bad and very filling.
