A friend bought this from this bakery and she got the char siew bun to try out. It was at $1.50 per piece and the top surface of the bun was different from the usual bun where normallythey were smooth but this one the surface was coarse with some bits of fine grains(I'm unsure of that). Anyway, the taste didn't taste anything like a char siew bun but the filling tasted more like a nonya bachang, rather sweet.
