If you are looking for Japanese food served at wallet-friendly prices, head on over to Yoshinoya that operates like a fast food outlet. Make your order at the counter and then collect your food.Yoshinoya always have set meals and ala-carte items on their menu.I am not a big fan of beef so I went for the teriyaki chicken rice set while my friends had the spicy beef rice and mushroom sets. I love the potato smiley faces that came with my set. They were so cute that it makes me happy to dig in. The serving seems alright for a girl but a guy would probably order more. If you like all things spicy, you can choose to sprinkle chili powder on your meat, giving the extra oomph and flavour to the meat. The miso soups that came with the rice bowl sets were tasty.
Staffs are quick and efficient when placing orders and getting our food. The only downside is that the place probably looks a little bit squeeze-y with tables in close proximity to other tables. (I could hear the conversations of a couple seated next to it)
Still for the price one pays I think it’s a relatively fair deal.
