My friend treated me to some delicious American carrot cakes from her house nearby bakery. I was quite stunned to learn that the cakes were from a neighbourhood bakery cos they taste simply hotel standard. The carrot cake was very light and fluffy. There were carrot strips and mixed nuts in the centre. The cake itself was very moist even after keeping it in the fridge. They topped the carrot cake with cheese cream. The cheese cream was sweetish but not too sweet. it added a little extra flavouri
