It was just one of those days that i do not know what to eat and so i ended up having the chicken rice from this stall for the second time. There was quite a queue on a Saturday afternoon. As most of these people were ordering the roasted pork rice, i was prompted to have roasted chicken with roasted pork rice. There was quite a queue on a Saturday afternoon. As most of these people were ordering the roasted pork rice, i was prompted to have roasted chicken with roasted pork rice. Perhaps my expectation was a tad too high, i ended up feeling disappointed after my first piece of roasted pork. It did not taste as good as i expected. It was just ordinary. The skin did not even have the crispiness that i adore. The roasted chicken fared a tad better. It has got a delightful smoky flavor with succulent texture. The chilli was a total disappointment. It did not taste distinctly spicy with no hint of garlic nor ginger taste.
The rice tasted decent. It has got a soft and fluffy texture and rather grainy too.
The soup was quite a surprise. It served with pieces of chicken feet in it. It has got a pretty slight corn taste too.It was not too bad for lunch on a lazy Saturday.
