If you cone here after 9pm, all the cakes are sold at 1-for-1. I believe that this is because the cakes, if kept overnight, wouldn't be as fresh anymore and have to be thrown away the next day anyway so selling them off at twin discount would be better.New Zealand Nutural Café is an upgraded version of the common New Zealand Ice-cream stalls. The cakes were good. Sadly on a Sunday, the manager told us that most flavors were sold out already, leaving with only 4 choices left; tiramisu, chocolate truffle, hazelnut and strawberry shortcake. We took the chocolate truffle and hazelnut as recommended by the manager.
The cakes were good. Rich in chocolate cocoa flavor, fresh and heavenly. They were not too sweet that makes them too 'gelat' either. They made a great and satisfying after-dinner dessert. The cakes were garnished with chocolate syrup too, not just served plainly. Staff service was good too as the manager made it a point to also serve us water and provide napkins without requesting. He also informed us to return another day for other flavors next time.
