I luuurrve Ban Mian..... Lurveee lurveee lurveee Ban Mian. Yes okay you get it. I in lube with Ban Mian. So i tried my luck today at 313@Somerset's Food Republic. I made a friend of mine to asked if they had other alternatives other than pork and they are able to replace the pork with chicken. i hear a choir saying 'Hallelujah'. Yes finallaaay
It was lunch time and the food court was like buzzing with crowds.. mostly office people.. there was a long q for this stall but the wait was not more than 10 mins and I had like 7 customers ahead of me. So the wait was bearable. I was easily entertained by the cook preparing the noodles. Looks cool.
The handmade ban mian noodle were smooth and chewy, they retained their bite all the way. The soup was clear looking and intensely rich in flavors. Their soft sily leaves and crispy ikan bilis complements the soup nicely. It was just heavenly and orgasmic. LOVE IT!
