Rive Gauche had this 10% off on that day while I was walking past their stall, so I thought I'll try it out. I was always attracted by their items but found it a little expensive. My mum is an avid baker of cream puffs, so I thought I'll get her this to try out and see how other bakeries make cream puffs. I realized that the cream puffs from Rive Gauche has a strong fragrance of the vanilla extract and also incredibly sweet in a good way, not the cloying way. The size is just nice for one person's tea break. It looks less attractive as compared to their eclairs and cakes but it is very delicious in its own right. After trying it, I think it is worth it to buy this even at its original price. Some "atas" cafes or bakeries don't even reach this standard and are charging exorbitant prices. One thing to note that this outlet does not provide any seating area, you can only buy it for take-away.
