Plain roti prata: $1 each.

We just wanted a snack, so ordered plain roti prata and some mutton curry. The prata cost $1 each and were quite small so we needed 2 roti per person. The texture was perfect - crispy on the outside and soft and flaky inside. Yum! The curry sauce that came with it was average tasting, not too spicy. We also ordered a plate of mutton curry for $5 to eat with the prata. It was more flavorful and the meat was tender.

I definitely liked the roti, but don't think it's worth a special trip out to Jalan Kayu just to eat roti.
