They only sell white carrot cake here,they do not sell the traditional black carrot cake which is fried with sweet black soya sauce.There is always a snaking long queue here, especially during lunch and dinner hours.Please go there early if you want to try it as they are usually closed before 7pm or earlier.This is one of the best carrot cakes that i have tried, usually my favourite are black carrot cakes as they are sweet.But the carrot cakes here is really crispy, not soggy like some others that i have tried.They are pan fried to perfection , soft on the inside and crispy on the outer.Always request for the chopped dash of spring onions to be topped as they add up a nice aroma to the whole dish.The chilli they served goes really well with the carrot cake,the chilli is abit sambal like, not the usual watery or bottled type.They may have some secret formula for it too.Prices starts from $2-$3-$4.However their portion is abit small, hence you might wish to order the $3 or $4 one, always request for More chilli, as the stallholder will alocate only a small amount if you dont request for more.
