Decided to try this place out for some promisingly good and reasonably priced Thai food. The location is rather inconvenient, as it is within a residential estate and quite hard to navigate without a map/GPS. We arrived rather early for dinner (around 5:45pm, they open at 6 sharp) and were told to wait outside. Food came quickly. The prices are very acceptable, about $5-7 for a small curry or dish/soup. Rice is charged separately (some places like E-sarn at Ulu Pandan have a free flow of rice). W

Food came quickly. The prices are very acceptable, about $5-7 for a small curry or dish/soup. Rice is charged separately (some places like E-sarn at Ulu Pandan have a free flow of rice). Water is also chargeable (they only offer bottled mineral water). However, the portion sizes were rather small and between the 2 of us, we had 4 dishes.

This is the chicken green curry. Generally, their curries are fragrant and quite luscious. They're quite generous with the meat and ingredients. We also ordered a dry beef curry which was equally flavourful and had a good amount of beef, which was actually quite tender.

The minced beef set comes with a fried egg, rice and some vegetables. The meat has good depth of flavour and was quite a welcome change to the curries. The egg was however overcooked.

Lastly we had an order of clear tom yum soup, thinking it would be milder and not as spicy as the other variant. But it looked really deceiving and the soup packed a punch! There were not many prawns in the soup either.

The service staff are generally quite attentive and seem to be always buzzing around the restaurant, but our waiter didn't seem very knowledgeable. Upon finding out about their set meal promotions (main+rice+drink+dessert) we requested to upgrade one of our mains to a meal, but the waiter (who wasn't fluent in English) took a while to understand what we wanted.

Would probably return again, but probably to takeaway some of their curries.
