Under a block of HDB flats by the open public car park, one is surprised to a shop selling english traditional style fish and chips. It pops out like a sore eye from usual shops around. The place has quite a cosy feel with its fake brick wall and dim lighting. The menu is limited but has quite a range of drinks. So now one knows where to go for a drink after work without going to the coffee shop.Orders and pays at the counter. Cash and NETS is accepted here. There is no GST or service charge. Foo
The croutons served on the soup are well flavoured with garlic butter. The soup is rich and thick with lots of minced mushrooms in it. However it tastes more on the salty side.
English batter Fried Arrowtooth Fish, Chips, Lemon, Tarter Sauce
The fish is not bad, being meaty and chunky. The fries is not crispy enough. The greens looks a bit sad.
Overall food is not bad. There is no much crowd around. Maybe its weekday. Service is not bad with friendly staffs.
