If you're looking for somewhere by the beach to have dinner with the sunset, Coastes will be a wise choice. Affordable prices at 15$, what you'll get is a piece of crispy battered fish with a reasonable serving of fries and side salad easily tossed with olive oil and vinegar yet taste simply delicious.. well I've to confess, I'm a small eater and one piece of fried fish is actually a kid's portion, however you could top up a 7$ to have 2 pieces instead. For a 25$(if my memory serves me right), you can order the pork ribs, not much of a "i will definitely have to go back there for the ribs again" but it's a pass, say 5.5 on the scale of 10? Served with a generous amount of deep fried potato wedges and also, the same olive oil and vinegar tossed salad.

While having dinner that day, I also noticed that the neighbouring tables had ordered some local delights, such as laksa and curry chicken. Seemed quite appealing to me, perhaps the next time I take a visit to Sentosa, I'll drop by to try those at Coastes for dinner again.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. Oh, and what stated on the menu is inclusive of GST (;
