Launched only this year, Goodwood Park Hotel's homemade durian ice cream is available until 7 January 2011 for takeaway from the Deli at S$14.80 for a 16oz tub. I also ordered the Durian crêpes ($15++). I love the fact this item is permanently featured on the menu, providing me with my durian fix even when the theony fruit is not in season. This dessert compirised two thin crêpes generously filled with smooth and creamy D24 durian pulp, crowned with a scoop of Mövenpick vanilla ice cream. Don't be fooled by the seemingly manageable portion size in the above picture- I would not advise one to attempt to finish this by oneself after a meal, unless you have an unusually large appetite for durian creations.
