I agreed with the earlier review given that the portion was indeed little. This seemed to be another famous stall in this food centre. It happened to be located just next to my favorite drink stall where i get the Sand Pearl drink. I decided to take away a packet to have for dinner at home later. I decided to take away a packet to have for dinner at home later. It was the drier version just like my favorite fried hokkien mee at Clementi. The difference between both is this particular one used the thin bee hoon rather than then the thick bee hoon together with the yellow noodle. It definitely required a certain skill to fry the thin bee hoon well and not to mess it up.
The bee hoon and yellow noodle were nicely fried with prawn stock and to bring forth the fragrance and flavor. It served along with sambal chilli and red cut chillies together with a lime. When mixed it well, it tasted good.
Somehow, i still prefer the famous stall at Clementi to this.
