For my 24th Birthday, my sister was sweet enough to get me a birthday cake from Mad Jack. I have never tried the cakes there or the food and this was a first for me. As the manager recommended her the Tiramisu, she decided to get it. The cake was pretty, filled with fluffy layers of cream and lady fingers and topped off with expresso. The cake did look very pretty presentation wise and I was thankful for all the effort.However, It was really hard to cut through the cake without messing it up completely. I am a huge fann of tiramisu and have had some great tiramisu desserts before but this cake was only average. It tasted too plain and on the bitter side (no doubt it has expresso in it) but sweetness was insanely lacking. The cake also did not taste as flavourful as I hope for. To my astonishment it was also very pricy! Doubt I'll be coming here for tea ):
