Had dinner with my ex colleagues last night. One of them was craving for steamboat so we headed to the newly-opened MK Restaurant at 313 Somerset. As soon as we settled on our seats, the waiter approached us and asked what soup base we want. Im not a fan of spicy things so we settled for the normal broth instead of the tom yum...

We also ordered the Vegetable Platter, all sorts of meat platter, and duck/char siew etc. platter. I really enjoyed the vegetables for they were really fresh. Same goes for the meat and seafood items.

While waiting for my stuff to cook, I was munching on the roasted duck. It was very crispy and I couldn't stop eating. For three platters, our total amounted to about $78. Hmm. Not too expensive but not cheap too!
