For almost 16 years this Kueh shop has been up and selling the traditional Chinese Ang Ku Kueh (means red tortoise dumpling in Hokkien). Firstly, one would be spoilt for choices as there is a variety of types of filling such as Coconut, Peanut, Yam, Salted Bean as well as exotic flavours like Durian ^.^
Secondly, the Kueh skin is awesomely good, tender, thin, chewy (like Mochi) and yet does not stick to the teeth. Lastly, the filling is very generous and pricing is indeed reasonable!
The current popular Mochi would offer even more exotic flavours but I definitely would opt for this instead. The taste and texture of this AngKuKueh outwin every bit of the most Mochi I have tried. Why pay double or even triple the price for a minute Mochi?
