This is one of the original stalls from the already demolished old TIong Bahru Food Centre a really long time ago. Business was at its peak when i was there during lunch. This is one of the original stalls from the already demolished old TIong Bahru Food Centre a really long time ago.

Business was at its peak when i was there during lunch. There were quite a few customers waiting to order or waiting to have their items re-fried. I ordered for a piece of tau kwa and a piece of big fish cake for $1.70. The friendly uncle would tend to recommend some of their specialties if you do not know what to order. Their prices are a little on the high side but i would not mind paying for it.

The tau kwa is amongst one of the items regularly on high demand and tend to be sold out rather quickly. It was a piece of normal tua kwa with a layer of fish paste over it. I have eaten it for quite a few times but it has always tasted fresh each time.

The fish cake tasted a little too average but still an enjoyment to eat it.

This stall offers one of the better snacks if you are looking for something extra.
