We are walking around this newly opened mall last weekend and decided to dine in at Sushi Tei for our lunch. The place is quite nicely renovated and it felt quite posh to me with its lighting and furniture. The ambience is quite good like its other Sushi Tei outlets.

For our order, we got the sashimi salad with their own specially made dressing, an order of chawanmushi and some other sushi dishes. First is the sashimi salad ($9). There are a few types of sashimi in it, tako, salmon, tuna and squid. I loved it a lot as all of it are very fresh and sweet tasting. We poured half of the dressing into the salad and it is sumptuous as the dressing is very tangy and refreshing. The vegetables add a nice crunch to the whole salad as well. It is one of the best sashimi salads that I have had.

The chawanmushi (~$4) is also quite alright, the egg is smooth and tasty and there are quite a fair bit of ingredients in the chawanmushi as well - prawn, mushroom and crabstick.
