Been hearing raving reviews of Sin Lee's food and I have to be there to try it for myself. The cafe is juz a short distance from Tiong Bahru Plaza in a quiet neighborhood.The cafe signature Fried Chicken and Waffles are seen at almost every table, seems everyone is here for that. Love the waffles, airy and crispy, but I cant say the same about the fried chicken. Personally I find the chicken not too bad but nothing out of the extraordinary. Personally I find the chicken not too bad but nothing out of the extraordinary. It is a huge piece of chicken, too much for me for fried food. It sorts of get too oily and heavy on me. Next time I would just have the waffles for dessert.
The salted egg sweet potato fries are very addictive and delicious! I personally love this and would come back for this dish alone! It is amazing to see how well the ingredients blend so perfectly to create this taste.
The Soft shell bun is another crowd puller. The bun is soft and flavourful with a big portion of the soft shell crab. The fries are a tad too salty though.
