I normally try to avoid fried food as much as possible, but I succumb to my cravings once a while especially since It has been 4months since I last had it. I saw quite a lot of people queuing to buy the fried ji pa (chicken chop) and I couldn't help but join in the queue as well. This is a very common snack and must try in Shilin night market in taiwan and the singapore branch here tastes quite authentic, though not comparable to the ones that you get in taiwan of course. I like mine with more chilli powder since it adds more kick to the ji pa, although it ended up making it more saltish, but it is very addictive. However, be sure to drink lots of water after eating, because of the high msg content.
