It is my first time here after seeing the deal Bigdeal.com. 4 course meal for $16, and I found it quite worth the try. The menu for the special deal is different from the usual menu, and it looks good, though the choices are quite limited. Looks absolutely delicious and special. The fish caviar was fresh and burst in your mouth, releasing the sweet juice. The white truffle essence was special and extraordinary.
Next up - Homemade Mushroom Soup topped with Truffle Essence
This soup is not creamy, but has a strong taste of mushroom. It has lots of fresh mushroom bits. It is served in a cup, something different from the usual bowl. I'd prefer it slightly creamier.
Main Course - Poule Au Pot (French Styled Chicken Stew) with Garlic Mashed Potato
and
Grilled Ribeye Steak (220gm) with garlic mashed potato
Both are disappointing, considering the high standards of the appetizers. The chicken was tender, but was not well marinated and did not bring out the flavor of the sauce. It taste simply like a household stew.
The ribeye steak was comparatively better, though normal in taste. We ordered medium wellness, and the meat was not tender enough.
Dessert - Dessert of the Day - New York Cheesecake
It is tiny, but palatable. The cheese was creamy, not too sweet, and will not get nauseous from too much of it. The biscuit of the base is very fine, and cannot really taste it.
Overall - A nice experience, but over-rated. Without such discounts or deals, I probably will not come back.
