There were 4 of us for dinner and as it was almost 9 pm at Vivocity many of the outlets were preparing to close. There were 4 of us for dinner and as it was almost 9 pm at Vivocity many of the outlets were preparing to close. We came to Kim Gary HK Restaurant, known for the wide variety of food that was able to accomodate to the different variety of diets we had--weight watching for the girls, low carb-er and the guys who were just famished and adventurous to try anything.

I ordered the hot and Spicy noodles with pork chop-- quite good! Better than expected, spicy enough for me--which translates to too spicy for the common folk. Lol. The pork chop was a very satisfying addition to the noodles.

My famished bf had the cheese baked rice plus the chicken steak burger. I think the burger was larger than we had expected, which obviously was good. I tried abit of the baked rice and felt it was ordinary.

The other couple ordered a few things to share. Since Kim Gary was having a sort of 'cheese special menu', they ordered mixed veg with cheese, chicken wings with cheese, fries and then the other guy friend ordered this thing called french style fried rice. This was super funny for us because my bf is french and he didnt even hear of such a thing! So when the dish came, we were trying to find out what was so 'french' about it. So apparently mayb there was french beans? and a huge piece of ham. Other than that.. we werent too sure why it was french. =P

All in all was good value at $80 per person. The place is definitely good for gatherings as food is budget friendly and can cater to different appetite and taste/
