This restaurant has become one of my favourites and I make it a point to go there at least once in two weeks. For this visit, we tried the Nasi Bukhari -a relative of Nasi Briyani, but with a slightly different flavour, and, definitely less oily.
The set comes with a special pickle, achar, fried chicken and beef rendang.
We asked to change that to chicken rendang instead.
If you want more rice, you can order an extra serving as well.
We then ordered two made to order vegetable dishes - kai lan and lady's fingers - stir fried with garlic and minus oyster sauce.
That's the best part of the vegetable and seafood menu - you can have it your way.
To top that we had mixed fruit juice - green apple and orange - simply refreshing!
With a cozy ambience and great service, I will be back to see Grandma soon!
