The place is a long and sweaty walk from the Labrador Park mrt station.
We have a view of PSA building from our table.
Foie Gras & Scallop - Pan Seared with sliced brie cheese, wine reduction :
The foie gras tastes abit too well done.
Cauliflower Veloute - Garnished with curry caramelized cauliflower, black seasame ice cream and curry oil :
It tastes half sweet, half salty => like half black seasame paste and half cauliflower soup.
Squid Ink Risotto - Cooked down together with basil, served with miso broiled cod, pickled ginger flower :
The risotto is a bit too uncooked for me, as some of the grains are still abit hard to bite.
Lamb Loin - Pan seared, olive & green onion crusted, tomato confit and a Madeira mint reduction :
The lamb is cooked just middle well done – juicy and soft.
Bailey’s Tiramisu - Mascarpone whipped with baileys on coffee soaked biscuits, coffee cream and sprinkle with chopped almonds :
Hardly tastes any baileys.
As night falls and we both of us have a hard time to enjoy the candlelit alfresco ambiance with the cool breeze, as we are getting bitten by mosquitoes.
