An interesting place to dine and keep away from the afternoon crowd. Joyden had been located in West Coast Recreation Centre for quite sometime and the restaurant had a recent face lift. In celebration of the recent revamp, the waitress had introduced the 1-for-1 crab deal to us. This is only valid if with minimum spending of S$150. As we are dining in 4, the minimum hit of S$150 is an easy target.Looking through the menu, we decided to order the given set menu at S$58/pax, the lowest value set

Looking through the menu, we decided to order the given set menu at S$58/pax, the lowest value set meal.

Abalone Soup was served in individual pot. Each pot was filled with a piece of abalone, fish maw, dried calms, chicken cube and vegetables. Soup was clear and enriched with the essence of the goodies. Enlightening!

Creamy Lobsterwas one of my favourite out of all the dishes in the set meal. Each plate of lobster had been well prepared, with half of the shell taken away. The sweet and light creamy sauce that was paired with the lobster has whet my appetite! Moreover, the golden fried mini buns compliments the sauce! Yums!

The Toufu dish has improved the levels and methods in cooking it. The toufu was "glued" tightly onto the plate (in the middle) and surrounded by the semi-hardened steam egg with wolf berries and steam vegetables. Interesting!

Braised Ee Fu Mee scores the least out of the set as it was pretty dry and without much taste.

Given a 1-for-1 deal, we get to choose 2 favours of crabs out of the 3 (chilli, creamy and black pepper). We have chosen the black pepper and the its signature's creamy crab. Comes with alot of Chinese parsley on top of the black pepper crab. These Sri Lanka Crabs has stolen the scene.

Big Pincers! I want! The shells were cracked and readily prepared to serve. Yum Yum!

When everyone prefers the black peppers, I'm the odd one out. I prefer the creamy one! Love its taste though the cream tastes similar to the lobster dish. Pincers were great and fabulous too. Crabs tools are given and washing bowls were served as part of the "crab package".

Last but not least, we have a Mango Pudding each and it comes with a striking red cheery. Pretty average tasting dessert!
