The place advertises its hot dogs, which are very simply priced, but it does fantastic, restaurant-quality pastas (read: the stuff you'd otherwise pay $30 for).

We ordered the creamy tomato meatballs and the smoky scallops risotto. They have a set for 2 where you get 2 main dishes (pastas or mains like chicken chop/fish and chips) plus a soup, a side (tater tots/fries) and 2 drinks.

The meatballs were served with penne in a sundried tomato sauce. The sauce had a strong tomato flavour and was subtly sweet. Very impressive for a $10 dish. They were generous with the meatballs too.

We had to top-up a couple of dollars for the scallops risotto, as this normally costs $17 on its own. Compared to the meatballs pasta, the risotto was pretty average. The rice had a nice bite to it, and the scallops were well-seared. However, it lacked the same punch that the tomato sauce had.
