Ruyi, derived from the Chinese phrase ‘as one’s wishes’ is Singapore's first fast-food Chinese restaurant under the Tung Lok Group. Its two main outlet at Resort World Sentosa and Changi Airport both attracts lots of diners and is often very crowded. As I have the coupons for the Heeren's branch, decided to try it out for the first time. The Heeren's branch was known as Ruyi Sweetheart and it's an outdoor concept. Opened 24 hours, we sat outside under their big, yellow umbrella overlooking the long queue at H&M as it's their opening day today too. It does get quite humid as there's no air-con.

My friends and I ordered Ruyi Fried Noodle, Stewed Minced Pork Noodle and Ruyi Fried Rice. Their fried rice is especially cooked in olive oil from Italy and top with their special sauce. Every grain of their rice is yellow in colour as they have been coated with egg. Top with carrot, spring onion, prawns and diced bbq pork, it's really a flavourful dish. Their Ruyi Fried Noodle is very tasty too but it's too dry and hard to chew.

Mango Pudding is refreshingly fresh and yummy. The price after using the coupon is more reasonable and worthy of the food.
