Bedrock Bar & Grill is a recently opened steakhouse that's been garnering rave reviews about the quality of their steaks. The restaurant itself is rather stylish, with dim and mood lighting. Service was good as well, non-intrusive but always helpful.They have some pretty good lunch sets, very affordable for a 3-course meal. I started off with the air-cured beef with mesclun salad. They have some pretty good lunch sets, very affordable for a 3-course meal. I started off with the air-cured beef with mesclun salad. This tasted wonderful, with bursts of gorgonzola cheese scattered among the beef slices. The main was the classic Parisian steak frites, a thin slab of beef on a hot plate with steak butter and partnered with handcut fries. The doneness was excellent and the taste was delicious. The handcut fries were thin and crispy. The dessert was a bit of a letdown. The "doughnuts" were too thick and tasteless while the raspberries were too sharp. Only the vanilla ice-cream was ok.
Overall still a great place to good for value for money lunch sets and great steaks!
