I was having a massive hokkien mee craving (usually I'll eat my favourite at 313's Food Republic) and was trying to find the hokkien mee stall at Taman Jurong Market & Food Centre. Apparently there was only one stall after touring the whole place. This is it then! There are options of $3/4/5 size of their Hokkien Prawn Mee. I chose the $4 version because I felt quite hungry, but in the end I overestimated my appetite. :l The hokkien prawn mee here could be described as... slightly above average,

The hokkien prawn mee here could be described as... slightly above average, perhaps a 6.5/10, but still lacking in that extra oomph. I drizzled a good dosage of lime into it. Amazingly, the first few mouthfuls were not that impressive but subsequently it got better... don't ask why. The portion of prawns were kind of abysmal - only three, is this even normal? ._. But the highlight of the whole dish is actually the noodles itself because they were really addictive after a while! Yum. I love the springy yellow ones mixed with white ones especially entwined in the gooey prawn mee sauce. It has a faint wok hei and really sweet with a twang of sour from the lime. Love it.

I don't regret trying this and if I were to drop by, I might just try this again!
