Served in a traditional thick glass bowl, the bowl of Cheng Tng is indeed no ordinary. Refreshing as the name sounds, the "tng" (sound) packs with sweet hints of dried longan with barley, sweet potato, mung beans, winter melon stripes, sago, dried pessimmon strip, gingko nut and white fungus as its ingredients. One can opt for the hot or cold version. The special part of the chilled Cheng Tng is its little ice cubes that maintains a good chilling temperature throughout instead of the usual shave ice we have.

Cost: S$2.00 / bowl
