The cafe was located at the second level is a wide open and clean space with a counter, a kitchen, some seats and tables. There wasn’t anything that was distracting in the interior, just white walls with wooden tables and seatings. For a cafe like this, it’s also pretty impressive to have a view out of the shophouse. They sell a selection of sandwiches, toasts and even sell omelette rice and pasta.

I ordered the Honey Toast. It comes topped with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream as default. The toast, unlike those you get in Hong Kong Cafes which may come fried are lightly toasted, retaining the fluffiness of the bread yet putting crispiness in the crust. The honey and chocolate sauce were also light, something that I appreciated as being a bakery, it should be the toast that is being the centre of attraction of the dish, and not having overpowering sauces to add strong flavours to the bread. For a bakery, the ice-cream was rather impressive as compared to my expectations as it was of a decent quality that would be fair enough to be sold in an ice-cream parlour.

The Cafe Mocha was huge, especially since I ordered a set. There was enough chocolate sauce in this one to make it taste distinctively a mocha.
