The shop is just located outside Holland village mrt station and so I went to get a bread- Green Tea Latte Bread! It taste as interesting as it sounds..the green tea is made up of milk cream kind of texture but not made up of cream. It tasted like the milk pan just that it is in green tea and i really like it. If it is only served in warm temperature but it was placed at the shelf with other breads so it is room temperature I guess. The inside of the bread is soft and has a sweet strong aromatic

The inside of the bread is soft and has a sweet strong aromatic smell of green tea and the red beans. the small bits of red bean make the overall green tea taste subtle and profound. I really like this special green tea latte bread!

While I was shopping at Holland Village, I walked pass a bakery which was crowded with people buying their buns. Hence, I went in to have a look.

I bought their curry chicken buns, since many people were choosing their wide varieties of fried buns.

The price was also on the high side at $1.70 each.

The curry chicken bun had a very crispy outer skin, even though it was already more than an hour when I reached home to taste.

Though the outer skin looked tasty, inside taste was slightly opposite.

The curry chicken fillings had a dull colour, so was the taste. The filling was low in curry flavour and aroma, slightly on the bland side.

Again, fluffy bread! A small amount of cream cheese, and taste of sesame seed is not significant at all.

They have a cafe on the second floor, which gives patrons a place to relax and enjoy their food and pastries to the fullest. Provence do have sandwiches too, and having tired that before, no doubt my likeness for Provence still stays the same!

Think of a Japanese bakery in Holland Village and Provence Bakery & Cafe immediately comes to mind. They sell a selection of sandwiches, toasts and even sell omelette rice and pasta.

I ordered the Honey Toast. It comes topped with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream as default. The toast, unlike those you get in Hong Kong Cafes which may come fried are lightly toasted, retaining the fluffiness of the bread yet putting crispiness in the crust. The honey and chocolate sauce were also light, something that I appreciated as being a bakery, it should be the toast that is being the centre of attraction of the dish, and not having overpowering sauces to add strong flavours to the bread. For a bakery, the ice-cream was rather impressive as compared to my expectations as it was of a decent quality that would be fair enough to be sold in an ice-cream parlour.

The Cafe Mocha was huge, especially since I ordered a set. There was enough chocolate sauce in this one to make it taste distinctively a mocha.

When comes to those who love to eat pizzas and do not want to spend too much on it, the seseme pizza from this bakery shop will be able to suit you. At less than three dollars per piece, it is consider very affordable and the portion is also quite generous too. Provence is a Japanese style bakery and cafe in Singapore. It is conveniently located near the Holland Village MRT station. Their bun is a bit expensive but it is really fresh and soft. The more popular bread would be the milk pan bun and chocolate wassants. I preferred the milk pan as it was fresh, soft and filled with rich custard.

This is my first time trying out the scones from Provence. Normally I will get their wassants and milk pan but this time for a change I went for the scones. There are three flavours of wassants to chose from: kaya, chocolate and custard. I bought two packs of 5 custard wassants and I finished one pack by myself at school. The wassants are very soft and fragrant if you consume it within the day, or better still, right on the spot after paying for it. It is really milky, buttery and very addictive. I had actually just wanted to eat one, but I could not help eating one after another because it is that tasty. In the end, I am only left with this one packet of 5 wassants which I took home for my family.

I was lucky enough to step in the store when their famous Milk Pan bread just came off the hot oven. The bread is soft and fluffy with a generous filling of creamy milky custard. The creamy milky custard is not too sweet and tasted perfect and is highly recommended.

It's a love at first bite. I am quite skeptical in trying this out. It did not look quite appealing from its appearance. But, i am adventurous enough to give it a try though. First bite. First bite. The bread portion was soft with a slight milky taste but it did not manage to impress me there. That special moment came when i sunk my teeth into the milk custard within the bun. I fell in love with the creamy custard filling almost immediately. At that moment, i wish i bought 2 instead of just 1 as i was desperately craving for just one more to make it complete.

When writing this, i made up my mind to go hunting for more milk pan tomorrow.

Strongly recommended.

This japanese bakery is most famous for its soft milky breads like the wassants and the milk pan. I got the Milk Pan bread since it is just hot off the oven. The bread is so soft and so delicious! It is so fresh and the fragrance is a large plus to the taste. Of course, not forgetting the creamy milky filling, it is not cloyingly sweet and hence goes very well with the bread. Definitely will be back for more!

My occasion visits to Provence at its various outlets often see me over at trying different types of bread, because basically every piece just looks so good.I tired the Milk Pan, it looks like a fluffy cupcake bread with a swirl design on top. I bit into the soft dough and what revealed inside turned out to be custard! In fact, vanilla milk custard, which I really enjoyed.Priced at a reasonable tag too, less than $2.
