This is the newest outlet of Din Tai Fung and the space area of this outlet is quite big. As we were early for our dinner, the restaurant was not crowded so we managed to get a seat near the window. At this outlet, cetain items that we ordered were good but some of the items were not so good. The century egg with diced ginger ($3.50) was quite sweet as the sauce was sweet but I still prefer the ones at the outlet at 313 Somerset. The century egg with diced ginger ($3.50) was quite sweet as the sauce was sweet but I still prefer the ones at the outlet at 313 Somerset. As for the xiao long bao, standard was still good. A lot of juice and the meat was very tender. The skin was not that thick. As for the oriental wanton with black vinegar and chilli oil ($6.80), it was not so fantastic. Rather tasteless. Will not order this again. So sad.
Overall, the service standard was quite good but I would much prefer other outlets as I find the chef there are more experienced and the food tasted better.
