Had an intense craving for Salmon Sashimi, so when I had to wait around for my friends at esplanade, being the pig that I am, I cldnt resist the temptation of a Japanese restaurant beckoning me towards it. I knew it will sell Salmon sashimi in some form, so when i took the menu I was hunting for the thing that will satisfy me. Mt first order was 2 pieces of salmon sushi (I thought I shall leave some space in my tummy in case my friends wanted to go for supper after that). However when i continued flipping through the pages of the menu, I saw this!
I could hear, I could feel, I could sense that it was staring at me, calling out to me. 'Eat me Eat me!' No choice, I had to cancel my first order and of course, I couldnt disappoint my sixth sense - This is THE ONE!

It was a beautiful sight when the chef presented the bowl of salmon chirashi. Looks almost surreal. I quickly devour what was in my bowl. The pieces of salmon were thick, satisfyingly thick to satisfy even the toughest critic. Each piece was fat, each piece was oozing out with omega 3. Every bite tellls me that I am getting healthier and healthier. Okay I am slightly deluded. I cant actually describe in words how wonderful this bowl is.

The ikura that accompanies this bowl was also marvellous. The chef was very generous in the amount of ikura. Then again I paid $20 of this bowl.

Anyway my only regret is that I ate way way too fast. If only I had slowed down and savour each and every bite. This is what happens when you are too hungry, and the food looks too pleasing.

I will definitely be back, I should bring my mum too, she would appreciate this wonderful bowl as much as I did.
