Spacious seating area and what really caught my eyes was the "Tray Return Station" with a big slogan "A Gracious Thought A Special Act". So far this is the first time I have seen a coffee shop with this setup.
I remembered reading an article that The National Environment Agency (NEA) will select 34 hawkers centres to be fitted with tray return facilities under their first of three phases. To roll out their Tray Return Initiative at hawker centres in Singapore over the next two years. This is the first coffee shop I discovered with this implementation.
We chose a couple of boiled potatoes, cooked cuttlefish, deep fried onion fritters, boiled egg, fish roll and prawn fritters.
The total cost for this plate of Indian Rojak cost S$8.00. There were no price indication for the selection
We were very disappointed with the food.
The selected food should be well heated up ensuring that the ingredients are warm enough before serving to customers. The gravy that goes along with the Indian Rojak was cold. The gravy should be kept warm all the time for immediate serving.
The boiled potatoes were sourish. Those fritters that should be crispy are not. The rest of the food were cold. What a day!
