For detail review, please see - http://midas400.blogspot.sg/2013/06/japanese-hotpot-buffet-at-danro-mof.htmlI noticed this new restaurant owned by MOF at Nex since early January and had been pestering my girlfriends to go try it out. We finally fixed a date to dine there. Dinner buffet price for Mon - Thu for Adults is $23.90++, kids below 9yrs old eats for free. You'll need to pay a couple of dollars more for weekend dining plus there is a $9.90++ charge for kids age 3 - 9yrs old. As a MOF Citi
I noticed this new restaurant owned by MOF at Nex since early January and had been pestering my girlfriends to go try it out. As a MOF Citizen, we get a 10% off the total bill so 4 of us only paid $25 each for the buffet.
The restaurant has an oriental style decor with bamboo lining the dining areas.
The buffet spread is huge, has wide selections of cooked and raw food. I'll let the pictures do the talking..
Numerous raw food stations includes marinated meats, fresh seafood, assorted vege, all kinds of balls etc. I'm pretty sure nobody can try everything within one meal session..
As for raw food...most items were fresh and tasted good cooked in the broths..no complains. My personal fave is the Akita broth & Shikoku spicy broth. The Nara broth is too milky for my taste, Hokkaido broth is not as sweet as Akita's.
I am almost filled to the brim...but still insisted to have desserts...the soft serve ice cream is a must try! Fruits and jellies were not too bad either.
Our dining experience here was good, food quality and variety was above expectations for the price we paid. Service staffs comes regularly to clear unwanted dishes to make way for new ones. Definitely value for money!
