Iconic item in Penang, I knew I didn’t pick wrong this time. Unlike local version, it was more salty rather than sweet. Lighter in colour, the taste was authentic and delicious when accompanied with more Sambal. No doubt the pricing was not cheap, $6.00 for a plate of hawker food, yet it was affordable if compared to other carters outside.
