Bought macarons at orchard TWG. Heard my friend said that TWG sells good macaron and because I doesnt know how it tasted like, so i bought the half-dozen one. The shop is very classic and ambience inside are great, the feel is like the high class people having high tea in British.When I first saw this, the thing that come into my mind is the colourings. The shop is very classic and ambience inside are great, the feel is like the high class people having high tea in British.When I first saw this, the thing that come into my mind is the colourings. The macaron is so colourful so I bet surely there is some colourings added. I bought this home and eat after one day, so I dont know whether they are still in original texture.
What I can taste is that the texture is not as crispy (I supposed it should be crispy in the outer layer?) And I cant stand the sweetness, too sweet for me. I like the mint flavour (white colour) the most coz it has mint flavour, the dark pink (blackcurrent) is quite sour and sweet at the same time.
One word to describe: TOO SWEET !!
