Potato masala has always been one of my favourites. This can be found inside the typical indian tea time/breakfast thosai or along side poori; another indian delight. Basically potato masala compromises of potatoes, peas, carrots, onions and of course masala! it is also similar to the usual curry puff potato filling but the indian version is slightly more spiced up.Different types of thosai is also available. I went for my favourite kind this time round - Masala Thosai. I love how its so crispy

Different types of thosai is also available. I went for my favourite kind this time round - Masala Thosai. I love how its so crispy on the outside with a generous portion of potato masala placed right in the middle! It is also served alongside 3 different curries - Sambar (which is like a dahl curry that is common eaten with prata), coconut chutney and chili chutney. No doubt coconut chutney compromises of grated coconut and spices while the chili version is obviously spicier. They complimented the meal very well!
