Delicious and juicy swedish meatballs served with mashed potatoes, gorgeous brown cream sauce and served with a dollop of lingonberries jam. This is what you may expect at IKEA CAFE @ Alexandra! My friend had the mee goreng ($5.90) which she says is not bad.As i wasn't feeling that hungry, i ordered the kids meal which came with 5 meatballs, a side of mash potato and their delicious lingonberries jam.As we know, Lingonberry jam has always been a staple food in Scandinavian cuisine. As we know, Lingonberry jam has always been a staple food in Scandinavian cuisine. Not only is it delicious, it packs alot of vitamin C which we all know is good for our immunity! I liked how it is not overly sweet and complements the meatballs really well!
The meatballs are made with pork and chicken and is a little round ball of pleasure, bursting with flavour! I especially loved the dish when paired with the sauce (as compared to the jam)
