This is the stall originated from the Whitley Road Flyover decades ago. I remember the stall used to be manned by a friendly Uncle. I did not see him there this time. This is the stall originated from the Whitley Road Flyover decades ago. I remember the stall used to be manned by a friendly Uncle. I did not see him there this time. It was manned by a middle aged Auntie with an elderly Auntie. I ordered the mee pok set at $4.30. The set consists of a bowl of mee pok with a bowl of fishball & fishcake soup and a piece of their signature fried fishcake.

The texture of mee pok has got a noticeably springiness but the sauce mix was a little let down. I requested for extra chilli to be added but the level of spiciness was rather minimum with quite a strong taste of tomato sauce.

The fishballs and fishcake soup tasted rather light. The texture of fishballs was rather bouncy with a desirable chewiness. Those slices of fishcake tasted equally good. The star of this set is that piece of fried fishcake. It still tasted fresh though not freshly fried.

So, would i go back again? i would not mind going for their fried fishcake but may be not the noodle.
