One thing I really adore about indian food, is the way mock meat is served. It's never oily and most of my non-vegetarian friends always say it tastes like the real thing! except perhaps a healthier option. I decided to get a take away when I heard that they introduced Mock Mutton Biryani. My first time having this dish at this restaurant sent mixed signals but I was not disappointed. The rice that was used was basmati which were long grains; definitely one of my favorites because the rice does not stick. I also love the idea of how they put chunks of soya meat into the biryani. The soya chunks were cooked very well and tasted amazing! It had just the right amount of spicyness and was bursting with flavor.
The portion was just right for me and I found the meal filling. It came with a container of kurma (curry) as well as raita (salad). The meal was also completed with a glass of lime juice which tasted pretty good.
I would definitely be back again!
