Ubin cooked food offers most of the common dishes that one can find in a Zhi Cha stall like sweet and sour pork rice, bittergourd soup, black pepper chicken with rice etc. I ordered number 14 on its menu board which is the $3.50 Mui Fan that fills me up for lunch today. Stall manned by 2 man, believed to be father and son. The father will cook and the son will prepare the food, payments and orderings. Waiting time is make pleasant with the cheetah speed of cooking by the old man considering that he has to cook a number of varieties of food in a short time. In fact my meal was rustled up within a few minutes. Really quick and impressive.
Ambience
Long Snaking queues were lined up outside his shop. Taking a closer look into his stalls, I saw covered bowls were stacked up nicely. Now I know the remedy of the fast service speed - they have the ingredients of the dishes well prepare in the bowl, therefore there is no additional time needed to sort out the ingredients during each customer's order.
Price
Considering the portion, i would say price is of a lower side.
Recommendation / Tips
There are over 20 items listed in their menu, I will like to try other items during my next visit.
