The food is ok, but it does not really fit the name Mediterranean to me. As someone who had stayed in that region before, I was shocked to see the waraq inab or rice wrapped with grapevines to be served icy cold and in just a very little portion with the price of $8 for 8 rolls. The Arabs served them hot like other rice dishes. For the tea, when serving; it should be put in small teapots and should be really hot. It will slowly cool once it is poured into small cups. For the tea, when serving; it should be put in small teapots and should be really hot. It will slowly cool once it is poured into small cups. That's the use of those small cups, to cool the tea. However, at Zac, it was served lukewarm so by the time the customer finishes the food, it will be half cold.
The staff did not seem to communicate well and didn't seem to work as a team, you could see that from their body language. One of those who served me was a Filipino lady, who seemed not able to understand instructions. I declined her offer for cold water but in the end, that cold water was brought to my table.
The kitchen staff were talking loudly and you could hear every word of their conversation from outside. It made we wonder, were they cooking or was there a party back there?
Need loads of improvement in staff training
