As I am a member of the restaurant, I have a free drink which I have selected hot tea as it is a cold wet day.

For this month, the restaurant offers seafood rolls on its menu. Could be it because the current trend is having lobster roll on the menu? The rolls are so popular that one can easily spot them at almost every table. Although the lobster roll offers here is not the cheapest in Singapore, but it is the most easily available one with so many outlets of Swensen's all over Singapore. If you are using OCBC credit card for payment, there will be a further 15% discount on the seafood rolls.

The Boston Lobster Roll ($21.80++)
A decadent creation featuring generous chunks of succulent lobster meat dressed with a touch of honey lime. To compete the experience, a prefectly toasted pillow soft butter bun was specially created so that every bite is unforgettable.
The bun itself is sinfully buttery and soft inside, with a crispy edge outside. Coupled with the juicy lobster meat, it is a super combination.

Slipper Lobster Roll ($16.80++)
Sweet and juicy slipper lobster meat adorned with chef's special homemade creamy mustard dressing. Nestled in a pillow of soft butter grilled bun and lightly crowned with silky smooth butter oil, every mouthful is bursting with rich flavours.
Similar to the above lobster roll, but the crayfish roll finished a distant second to it. The crayfish meat lacks the sweetness found in the lobster meat. If you can have only one, just go for the more expensive one.

From the Christmas menu,

Joyous Turkey Cordon Bleu ($19.90++)
Adding a little French twist, Swensen's present the traditional turkey served in an indulgent Cordon Bleu style. Succulent and tender turkey breast coated in a rich batter, fried to golden brown prefection and accompanied with heavenly melted cheese and delicious cranberry jelly.
The crispy but juicy chicken is a well balance combination with the sweet cranberry jelly. Although it looks like a lot of cheese, it is not too cheesy.

Overall it is interesting that Swensen's has again came up with delicious and yummy food which will keep the customers coming. Service is a bit slow as the place is crowded, as well as, the place seem to have filled up with a number of new staffs who seem to be lacking of directions. Maybe it is school holidays and those are students who work during the holidays.
