Was my dad's birthday and decided to bring the folks for something new rather than just purely coffeeshop food, though is nice and cheap. Decided to settle with Kungfu Paradise because I wanted them to try the Custard buns. So we head to the nearest outlet from our home at JCube.

Not realising that actually I have ordered stuff that I like rather than what the folks prefer. Luckily I helped them with the choices.

Mum had spaghetti, which is non spicy (preferred by her) and is a big plate and wasn't able to finish. Quite average, just like spaghetti bolognese, very tomato feel. Plus point is that the mushrooms are quite a bit and nice.

Dad had Tom yum soup with rice. The ingredients inside is pathetic. Small bits of mushroom, squids, some vegetables and so on. Not worth trying. Better off doing it at home with the paste and all sort of ingredients that you want.

I have ordered finger food like the truffle fries and seafood platter. Both are still worth. Do have that.

For all of us, I ordered 6 custard buns. Seriously, you need to have it once it is served so as to taste the warm custard flowing out. It really tastes like some nice sand is melting in your mouth. But when it is cold, no longer taste good.

Last of all, Gongbao chicken. My guy has that and he feels average. It is very dry. Not worth trying.

As for the drinks, try the hot honey lemon. It is nice and soothing.

The total bill add up to $90 for 5 pax. Quite expensive for an average restaurant. Will not come back for proper meal but maybe for their finger food.
